a video installation, five short films document people using their wrong hand

set of 4 with 250 tissues each/ 9.5 x 3.5 x 4.8”a thousand people were asked the question ‘why did you cry last?’. their one word replies were labeled onto thousand small vials. the vials were filled with a saline solution that matched the exact composition of human tears. an accompanying use& throw book had the one-word replies printed on tissue paper. once read, the answers are lost forever. visitors to www.onethousandtears.com were invited to participate in a virtual version of the project.
